Abstract

(57)【要約】 【課題】 従来のペン入力装置では、ペン先の位置を磁 界の強度で検出し、筆圧を磁界周波数で検出するため、 2種類のデータが必要となり処理がに時間がかかってい た。 【解決手段】 ペン本体、前記ペン本体に固定され、磁 界を発生する固定磁石部、及び前記固定磁石部との距離 が、筆圧に基づき変化するペン先部を有する磁力ペン と、前記固定磁石部からの距離に基づく磁界の強度を検 出する複数の磁界強度検出用素子が規則的に配設され、 前記ペン先部が圧接するタブレットと、を備え、前記磁 界強度検出用素子によって検出された前記固定磁石部か らの磁界の強度に基づき、前記ペン先部から前記タブレ ットに対して加えられた筆圧を検出することとした。
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that much time is required for a processing since two kinds of data are required because a position of a penpoint is detected by magnetic field intensity and the strength of a brushstroke is detected by magnetic field frequency in the conventional pen input device. SOLUTION: This pen input device is provided with a pen main body, a fixed magnet part to be fixed to the pen main body and to generate the magnetic field, a magnetic force pen with a penpoint part whose distance from the fixed magnet part changes on the basis of the strength of a brushstroke and a table on which plural elements for detecting magnetic field intensity to detect the magnetic field intensity on the basis of the distance from the fixed magnetic part are regularly arranged and on which the penpoint part is pressure-welded and detects the strength of a brushstroke applied from the penpoint part to the table on the basis the magnetic field intensity from the fixed magnet part detected by the elements for detecting magnet field intensity.
