Abstract

The invention relates to a method for making electrode active materials represented by the general formula: A<a>VO<XO><4>,wherein (a) A is an alkali metal or mixture of alkali metals, a is greater than 0 and less than 4; (b) b is greater than 0 and less than 2; (c) X is selected from the group consisting of phosphorous (P), sulfur (S), arsenic (As), silicon (Si), and combinations thereof; and wherein A, X, a and b are selected to maintain the electroneutrality of the electrode active material in its nascent (as prepared or synthesized) state.
本发明涉及一种通式为A<sub>a</sub>(VO)<sub>b</sub>XO<sub>4</sub>的电极活性材料的制备新方法,其中:(a)A为碱金属或碱金属的混合物,并且0<a<4;(b)0<b<2;(c)X选自如下组成的组:磷(P)、硫(S)、砷(As)、硅(Si)及其组合;并且其中A、X、a和b的选择使得可以保持电极活性材料在初始状态,即制备时或合成时的状态的电中性。
